GetClearSkin Question: What is the best way to achieve a streak-free application with your Foaming Sunless Tan?

  1.  Take a shower and use our Body Micro-Dermabrasion to exfoliate every part of your body where you will be applying our our Foaming Sunless Tan. (Note: If you shave your legs, do so before applying the Foaming Sunless Tan … shaving after you apply will reduce the life of your glow.)
  2.  Next, use our Daily Moisturizer on your knees, elbows, toes, toenails, heels, and ankles to prevent the Foaming Sunless Tan from concentrating in those areas where skin is thickest.
  3.  To avoid orange palms, use protective gloves or simply remember to wash your hands immediately after applying.
  4.  If you do make a mistake, acetone or nail polish remover can be used to remove any unintended color.
  5.  Allow our Foaming Sunless Tan to dry to the touch before getting dressed. If you can wait 15 minutes or so before getting dressed, that’s even better.
  6.  Avoid wearing tight fitting clothing over your Sunless Tan for 3-4 hours after application to allow color to develop evenly.
  7.  Finally, understand that color develops as the proteins in your body respond to the color-inducing ingredients in ESSENTIALS Foaming Sunless Tan. This response creates the notorious smell that is often associated with self-tanning products. So it’s a good idea to apply the Foaming Sunless Tan at bedtime, sleep in loose fitting pajamas and then shower in the morning.

GetClearSkin Question: I have melasma. What should I use?

The “mask of pregnancy,” or melasma, is the most visible manifestation of the effect of hormones on the skin during pregnancy, while on birth control or hormone replacement therapy. Melasma appears as symmetrical dark brown patches on the cheeks, upper lip and forehead. It results from the overproduction of melanin triggered by estrogenic hormones in concert with sun exposure. Heat that comes from activities like “slaving over a hot stove” can also induce melasma, as was reported in a group of Latina kitchen workers. While it affects women of all ethnicities, darker complexions tend to have the most persistent forms.

We recommend that you use the REVERSE regimen as a simple, full-face solution that tackles both the damage below the surface and the visible pigmentation that is the result of years of incidental sun exposure combined with excessive amounts of hormones.  It combines prescription medicines at non-prescription strength with active cosmetic ingredients to exfoliate away dulling dead cells, lighten unwanted pigmentation, even skin tone, brighten the overall complexion, and protect against further UV damage, visibly improving the appearance of environmentally aged skin.

For some people, one cycle of the REVERSE Regimen is sufficient to restore skin brightness and even tone. For significant hyper-pigmentation, it may take two to six months before maximum evenness of skin color is achieved. Once you’ve achieved your desired results, you may transition to our ANTI-AGE Regimen and AMP MD™ and be diligent with sunscreen every day. If more dark marks appear, you may always return to using the REVERSE Regimen if the dulling signs of sun damage or spots begin to reappear.

Testimony from one of my customers...

Tasha,

"I just wanted to tell you how happy I am with the Soothe regimen. I have been using it now for 60 days and I can't get over how smooth and silky my face feels! Its feels like a silk pillowcase over a fluffy pillow! In the morning, before I run, I splash some water on my face and just using the water, my face feels fabulous. Everytime I touch my skin I just say WOW! These products are great!"
